With the goal to streamline the online shopping experience, Digital Retailing tools and website personalization are getting better, but has never been quite perfected. In 2017, several companies referred to creating a more “Amazon-like” shopping experience, yet dealership websites and proprietary coding made it difficult to achieve that goal. The progress made by automotive companies in 2017 was encouraging, however, and we look forward to seeing how they’ve evolved over the past year.
